as i sit here eating a slice of pound cake that i made last night for company. >_<
I want to go to the gym today!!! But I cant go until I finish cleaning my basement. I’ve been putting home maintenance and spring cleaning off for far too long.
I’m just going to listen to Dusty Springfield and dance while I clean and move furniture around. Thats as good as working out to me, so if I cant make it to the gym at least I broke a sweat.

I have been away for too long. I got swept up in a lot of chaos in my personal life. Grad school admissions, family affairs, my sister’s upcoming wedding, personal relationship issues, the list goes on.
I’ve still been eating right and working out, but tracking it all online sort of fell to the wayside. Finding the time to keep up the healthy habits came with the side effect of not having much time for the internet!
Now things have settled down quite a bit and I feel like the time is right to get back to blogging and updating my sites. It will be a slower less active return, but a return nonetheless. I do still have a wedding to help plan and a house to work on now that its spring.
I’m sorry I just went away without notice, but you know how life gets.
